Parenting with Awareness, Courage and Love™ for Neurodivergent Children
Build emotional regulation skills and deepen your connection with your neurodivergent child in this 8-week therapeutic group rooted in Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) and the Awareness, Courage, and Love (ACL) model. Through guided practice, reflection, and shared learning, parents explore the patterns that shape emotional responses—both theirs and their child’s. This group supports healing for the whole family by strengthening emotion regulation, increasing relational flexibility, and fostering connection. Perfect for parents of autistic and ADHD kids—especially those who are neurodivergent themselves.

Seeking low cost care?
These low-fee care resources are a starting point for finding support that’s more financially accessible in the Seattle area. Many center social justice values and offer care that is neuro-affirming, queer- and trans-affirming—but it’s always important to explore for yourself. Each provider or organization is different, and your needs and safety matter most. Most services are provided by interns and are between $50 and $100 per session.
Looking for identity-specific support?
Finding a provider who shares or deeply understands aspects of your identity can be an essential part of feeling safe and seen in care. This list includes identity-specific databases to help connect you with practitioners who center lived experience, cultural responsiveness, and affirming support.
